What to Expect

When You Arrive

When you arrive at the church, feel free to park anywhere and come on in. A greeter will be standing outside to welcome you and point you in the right direction, either to Redemption Kids for check-in or to our foyer and auditorium. When you check your kids in for the first time, we are happy to walk you back to their classroom so that you can see the space, but during the service we keep this area closed off and secure. Please stop by our Connection Center on your way into the worship auditorium.

If you need anything, anyone wearing a blue Redemption t-shirt will be happy to assist you!

In the Service

Our services last a little over an hour and include a vibrant time of worship through singing, prayer, and preaching centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Every week, our sermons unpack a particular passage of the Bible and explore what it means for our lives.

After the Service

Once the service is over, our pastors and volunteers would love to meet you, answer any questions you may have, and pray with you. Stop by the Connection Center on your way out, located in the foyer outside the worship auditorium.

Frequently Asked Questions

How early should I arrive?

We recommend arriving about 10-15 minutes before the service. This gives you time to check your kids into their classrooms, meet a few people, and get settled into your seats.

What should I wear?

Come as you are. Some dress up, some come casually, everyone is welcome!

Do I need a Bible?

If you own a Bible, we definitely recommend bringing it. Each sermon looks closely at a specific passage of Scripture and this will help you follow along. We teach from the English Standard Version (ESV). If you don’t own a Bible, we have some available for you and would love to send you home with one. You can also download a Bible app on your mobile device and follow along digitally.

What songs do you sing?

We sing a mix of old and new hymns and songs, all with a commitment to biblical faithfulness, theological richness, and congregational participation in our singing.

Are children allowed in the service?

Absolutely! While Redemption Kids is offered for children birth-4th grade, we know that some families want to worship together. Your children are ALWAYS welcome in our services! We know that they might fidget, wiggle, and make noise, and that’s OK. We have resource packets available for families in the Connection Center with crayons, coloring pages, activity sheets, and small fidget toys, please feel free to stop by and grab one of these packets on your way into the service.

What measures do you take to keep my kids safe?

We take the health and safety of our children very seriously. Redemption is a member of the Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention (ECAP), an organization that provides standards and best practices for volunteer screening, training, and reporting.
